DOG WALKS

Hours
Day / AM Rate- Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the following areas:
Gramercy Park, Murray Hill, Union Square, Chelsea, East Village and West Village. Walks are priced according to the distance from our NYC office which is in Gramercy.

Weekend / PM Rate- Weekends from Noon to 6:00 PM and nights after 6:00 PM. A nominal surcharge is added to the appropriate day rate.

Group Rates- Applies to households of multiple dogs. A discount is applied to the day
rate and varies according to the number of dogs in each household.

Adult Walks
We walk two to five dogs at a time. Your dog is monitored for the following:

• Did your dog poop? pee?
• How were your dog's social skills?
• How was your dog's leash etiquette?

You are left a daily note detailing some or all of the above.

Puppy Walks
We recommend two walks per day by TLC added to the six walks by you that are necessary for housebreaking your puppy. We begin with solo walks, pairing your pup with a compatible walk buddy when deemed appropriate. We generally suggest the mid-morning and mid-afternoon walks be done by TLC. During this process, we maintain intensive communication and coordination with you.

Exercise Walks
A stimulating trot for the active dog, customized for your dog's age, weight and health (weather permitting).

Customized Walks
Our rates vary if we receive short notice, if you require a solo adult walk, if you are outside our walking areas or if you need off hour walks (weekends, weeknights and holidays). Walks to and from the vet or groomer are charged according to length of walk.

Training Walks
In a 30 minute session your dog is walked solo emphasizing appropriate:

• Leash behavior in the home and outside on the street
• Elevator etiquette (outside and inside)
• Social interaction every step of the way

On solo walks we can also address specific problem behaviors, some of which require conditioning or de-conditioning. Solo walks are a supplement to, and should not take the place of, leash training sessions. Therefore, a 30 minute follow up session with owner and dog is a scheduled part of this package.

Telephone Consultation
TLC is available to consult via the telephone by appointment by the half hour. Topics covered may include: training walk progress reports, housebreaking vs. paper training, breed selection, rescue vs. pedigree.
